Our Story
Why we started CRC

We created CRC because we saw firsthand the harm families face, including two of our own family members who lost their home to a scam. Seeing and feeling that injustice made this a lifelong mission. We’ve helped families left stranded by disappearing architects, mediated disputes, and guided homeowners back to stability. It’s not just construction, it’s about making sure no one faces these challenges alone. We are here to protect, advocate, and restore hope.

How We Help
Three ways we stand with homeowners in crisis.
Construction disasters don’t fit a single template. We meet homeowners where they are — whether that’s chasing a vanished contractor, untangling a stalled ADU permit, or buying time against a foreclosure clock.
Service 01
Botched Construction
When a contractor walks off the job, delivers shoddy work, or leaves permits hanging, you're stuck with the bill — and the liability. We help you regain footing without paying for another mistake.
- Document the dispute in a format attorneys and insurers will accept
- Connect you with vetted contractors for remediation and code-correction work
- Escalate complaints to the CSLB, BBB, or licensing boards on your behalf
- Coordinate independent inspections so you have evidence, not just opinions
Service 02
Failed ADU Builds
ADU projects have specific failure patterns — stalled permits, lender pushback, framing that doesn't pass inspection. We know the players, the timelines, and what gets a half-built unit across the finish line.
- Navigate municipal permit holds and zoning appeals
- Mediate between you, your lender, and the original GC
- Source replacement architects and structural engineers when the original disappears
- Help you decide when to repair, when to rebuild, and when to walk away
Service 03
Financial Rescue
A botched build can collapse a family's finances faster than a missed paycheck. If you're staring down a default notice, an empty reserve, or a lender that's stopped returning calls, you have less time than you think — and more options than you realize.
- Connect you with legal aid and pro-bono foreclosure defense attorneys
- Identify emergency assistance programs you may qualify for
- Coordinate loan modifications and short-term restructuring conversations
- Stand between you and aggressive collectors while we sort the path forward
